The sump pump discharge line will be rerouted to the roadside ditch, roadside storm sewer, county drain or other approved outlet. The contractor will be required to restore the home and yard to its preconstruction condition. Estimated cost is $1,000 per installation. If it is determined that the sump pump and/or footing drains are not connected to the sanitary sewer no action will be required.
