Duties and Responsibilities

• Verifies, vouchers and posts detailed transactions into the corporate financial system from source documents and detailed spreadsheets
• Summarizes details in spreadsheets and transfers data to the corporate financial system, including assets, liability and expense accounts
• Maintains and balances the subsidiary Fixed Asset Application
• Reconciles and balances asset, liability and expense accounts on a monthly basis
• Prepares and files payroll, withholding tax reports and personal property tax reports
• Compiles reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss and other items pertinent to the operation of the business
• Develops and documents accounting processes
• Completes records through the trial balance
• Oversees the bookkeepers and assistant bookkeepers to make sure they are following proper accounting procedures

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent hands-on project accounting experience
• Must have a thorough understanding of GAAP accounting including accruals, prepaids and capitalization
• Advanced computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel are required
• Experience with Deltek Vision software a plus

The Marketing Manager will assist the Director of Corporate Marketing with "big-picture" issues such as branding, website, proposal development and budgeting.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Corporate Marketing and Division Managers with the annual development of the Division Marketing Plans
• Participate in Division Marketing meetings (Design, Construction, Survey, Transportation) and help with a focused and accountable approach to plan implementation
• Provide significant input into larger / high priority proposals such as talking to the client to gain their major goals for the proposed project, working closely with the Project Manager responsible for writing the proposal work plan, helping to put together and write portions of the proposal, and suggesting graphics to enhance the proposal
• Assist the DCM with developing efficiencies in the proposal preparation process• Proactively review and promote ROWE’s brand. This includes organizing client surveys, website updates, social media movement, sponsorship, advertisements, journal articles, newsletter and internal staff education on our brand.
• Provide marketing training to staff. Develop one to two lunch sessions for staff during the winter. Also, provide short marketing topics occasionally (4 to 6 times per year) at the monthly PM meetings.
• Assist the DCM with the Marketing Department annual budget
• Direct the Marketing Department staff on their daily operations and duties. Items such as making sure trade conferences are attended, exhibit booths are professional, managing our promotional materials, award applications, press releases, project photos, resume updates, and event notifications, etc.
• Monitor the marketing metrics for the company. This includes number of proposals (formal and letter), hit rate, website hits, social media trends, etc.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in the engineering consulting industry or equivalent combination of education, experience and training

Duties and Responsibilities
