Project Description:

ROWE provided field engineering for the new construction of the Enbridge Line 63 mainline, a 24-inch crude oil pipeline owned by Enbridge, Inc. and Lincoln Pipeline, LLC. The line travels from Pontiac, Illinois to Patoka, Illinois. The project was constructed on both brownfield and greenfield sites and included the removal of a decommissioned 10-inch line.

ROWE’s tasks included:

  • Reviewing/assessing construction deficiencies
  • Providing insight and clarification of project specifications, standards, and plan set
  • Developing, documenting, and overseeing the project hydrotest plans, procedures, and operations
  • Reviewing and approving construction material submittals
  • Coordinating construction activities as-needed
  • Assisting the construction management team with engineering-related tasks as-needed
