Summary

ROWE Professional Services Company, a leading civil engineering, and surveying consulting firm, is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our corporate headquarters in downtown Flint MI. Position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Key Duties

  • Reviews, edits, and formats highly technical documents
  • Provides detailed data entry
  • Formats complex reports and presentations
  • Composes and types routine correspondence

Other Responsibilities

  • Assists with receptionist duties as needed, including answering a multi-line phone system
  • Performs production related administrative activities such as copying, binding, and filing
  • Completes requisitions for office supplies and other administrative services
  • Monitors company printing needs such as letterhead, etc.
  • Coordinates conference room, schedules meetings, assists with luncheons and events

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience working in a responsible admin role
  • Associate degree in related field preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Positive and confident demeanor
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to adapt to new software

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate proposal preparation process while working with technical experts to meet multiple deadlines
  • Work collaboratively with staff throughout our offices in support of overall proposal efforts
  • Accountable for quality of proposals, presentations, qualifications, and marketing material
  • Research RFPs/RFQs and solicits required content from technical experts
  • Gather and regularly update professional resumes, project summaries and qualification materials
  • Schedule and conduct proposal kick-off meetings to establish a work plan that adheres to interim and final deadlines leading up to proposal submission
  • Ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and corporate compliance
  • Ensures proposal production materials are in stock (toner, paper, tabs, etc.)

Qualifications and Requirements
