DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Administrative Secretaries work with a wide range of staff from all departments. Key duties in this role include reviewing, editing, and formatting highly technical documents, provide detailed data entry, formatting of complex reports and presentations, and composing routine correspondence. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists with receptionist duties as needed, including answering a multi-line phone system
  • Performs production-related administrative activities such as copying, binding, and filing

ROWE Professional Services Company is currently seeking Roadway Design and Construction Engineers for all of our Michigan office locations. Our engineers work under the supervision of a Project Manager.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing plans, 3D modeling, roadway design and estimating
• Directly assist Project Managers on large scale projects but will also have the opportunity to lead small projects and teams
• Project types are generally roadways/streets, site design, and feasibility studies

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have 2 years of experience, EIT certification preferred
• Licensure as a Michigan PE (or the ability to obtain licensure within 1 year)
• Previous experience w/MDOT preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing proposals and project plans
  • Conduct research and development for projects
  • Represent clients at public meetings
  • Provide direction and supervision to their staff to complete plans, permit applications, construction documents and construction management

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A solid understanding and familiarity with local standards and agency permitting requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in planning, designing and managing public sector clients and their projects
  • A Michigan PE license or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time is also necessary
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred
